I will overwhelm 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
